18 coaches of goods train derailed near Rajhara, Palamu, rail operations affected.

Rail services between Daltonganj and Garhwa Road Junction were affected due to the derailment of 18 coaches of a coal-laden goods train near Rajhara railway station in Palamu. The incident is said to have happened on Sonnagar-Barwadih railway section.

Railways started relief and track clearance work on the spot. Many trains were stopped, canceled or diverted. According to officials, the real reason will become clear after the investigation report.
