Emphasis on accelerating water conservation works before monsoon

In view of the monsoon, there is a need to speed up the works of water conservation and rain water harvesting. At many places, local bodies have been instructed to clean drains and prevent waterlogging.

Experts say that saving rain water will improve the groundwater level and reduce the water crisis during the summer season.
