Mizoram: 740 grams of heroin recovered in Aizawl, 9 smugglers arrested

Mizoram, Bureau Desk | 740 grams of heroin has been recovered and nine suspected smugglers arrested in a major anti-narcotics operation in Mizoram's Aizawl district. The raid was conducted by officials of the Mizoram Excise and Narcotics Department with the help of Assam Rifles and Central Anti-Drug Squad (CADS) members of the Central Young Mizo Association (YMA). This action was taken early in the morning on Friday. Officials said that interrogation of all the arrested smugglers is going on. This successful operation is part of the ongoing anti-narcotics campaign in Mizoram.
