Meghalaya: Union Minister Shantanu Thakur calls development of NE a priority

Meghalaya, Bureau Desk | Union Minister of State Shantanu Thakur said in a press conference in Shillong that the overall development of the entire North-Eastern region including Meghalaya is the priority of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government. He highlighted the achievements and developmental initiatives taken by the Central Government in the last 12 years. He said that Prime Minister Modi has continuously envisioned to bring inclusive development to every corner of the North-East. He stressed on improving infrastructure, connectivity and social welfare schemes in the region.
