Impact of both heat and rain in Garhwa, people alert due to weather change

The effects of both heat and weather change were visible in Garhwa recently. While the Meteorological Department had expressed fear of heat wave in the districts of north-western Jharkhand, people also got relief from rain and strong wind in many parts.

In such weather, the elderly, children and laborers need special caution. It is being advised to avoid unnecessary sunlight during the day, drink enough water and stay away from open places during lightning storms.

This uncertainty of weather is also important for farmers. Before preparing for Kharif, it will be important to keep an eye on rainfall, soil moisture and temperature.
